Just because it’s scary, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. Doing it scared is still doing it.

Leadership can be challenging and sometimes you have no idea if what you’re doing is the right thing, for you, your team, the wider business.

Making decisions and moving forward through the fear, is the only way to get to the other side.

I take the old saying ‘stop and smell the roses’ very seriously. I literally got hubby to turn the car around for those beautiful pink flowers 😂 Does anyone know what they are called?

It’s a long weekend in NZ and it could not have come at a better time. I’m feeling wired and tired and although I’ve had an exciting week, it’s been a lot to take in, process and enjoy. Today is a beautiful day.

Reminder that rest is medicine for the soul, not a luxury. Try to incorporate rest into your week. 💖

Every step is one step closer to your goal and one step further away from where you used to be.

The whole staircase looks daunting. Pace yourself. Things of value take time and are built methodically by small incremental steps you’ll get to the top.

What if you stumble? You may. But if you get back up, dust yourself off and try again, the stumble will be a very small blip on your path to success.

Yes you may say your kids are important and your partner and aging parents etc but without you looking after yourself, you can’t be the best parent, son, daughter, partner, friend.

I was panicking!!

I was preparing all the things needed for a 3 week holiday overseas when I got the call. Do you want to sign up to be a coach? You’ve always wanted to. Doors close in a week!

My mind went to NO! But @melrobbins told me to:
✅just do it!
✅Say yes!
🛑Stop procrastinating

This was THE BEST ADVICE! I said yes!!

Maybe you’re like me and struggle to invest in yourself, maybe you’re a recovering procrastinator, if I can do it so can you.

80 days until 2025. Start planning the life you want and deserve.

Don’t spend another year in a job that doesn’t fill you up, use your skills and talents and make you feel fulfilled.

It’s tough. You don’t want to lose the momentum of where you’re headed. But if you’re headed in the wrong direction, it may be time to check in with yourself, is this what you really want?

This is not only about a toddler, Walt is telling us that failure is not a reason to give up, but rather to GET UP and start again until we achieve our goals. Toddlers don’t give up until they’ve mastered walking, then walking is too slow and they set their sights on running. This drive is within you. You were once a toddler that never gave up. Don’t give up now! Keep trying.

End of life support is heart-aching and heavy stuff.

So when you have to play a supporting role, sometimes you forget to look after the caregiver of others- YOU!

Self care is not selfish. Take some time to nourish yourself, not only your eating habits, but your water, sleep and movement too. Make time for stillness and processing. It will keep you strong to carry on.

The training wheels are off and I’m doing it!! I’m coaching!

My main focus will be to practice coaching in a series, as I already have many years of consulting experience. The skills I’ve learned over the past 6 months, have allowed me to hone not only my coaching craft but my business consulting has become richer and more polished.

When I passed the test to be able to take on pro bono clients (yes! I had to write an actual exam!) I put it out to the universe that wherever I could, I would coach people. So when a friend asked for some business advice, I agreed and had a full consult with her. She got a great result and I got to practice my new skills.

Getting a message like this, is like seeing it written in the stars. I’m on the right path. 🌸

Studying to be a coach fills me up. I love absorbing all the deep, rich and varied content.

Being a mom to 2 teens and a tween, can make studying a bit challenging but I’m 5 months in and so far so good 😊

I often get asked how I do it. I do little bits every day and sometimes, on days like these, I multitask. Not ideal, but we make it work.

My family know how important this is to me, so they rally around me and never judge when I do things like this instead of being fully present with them. They understand short term pain for long term gain. PLUS they get a happier mom! 💥

The bad news: you’re believing EVERYTHING negative that was repeated to you while you were growing up.

The good news: you can start repeating new, positive, motivating things right now and your brain will believe it!
